Summary
This Request For Comment concerns the creation of a Yield Farm for the HBAR/FOOTBALL V1 Liquidity Pool with a farm weight of 0.75%. Football aka Soccer is known as “the worlds sport” and for good reason. As the most watched and engaged with sport on the planet the potential for onboarding to Hedera is colossal. Top Flight Football has so far raised over 110,000 HBAR in its successful INO, the majority of which was deposited into the Saucerswap Liquidity Pool upon DEX launch of the $FOOTBALL token on 7th October 2025.

Motivation
Football has over 3.5 Billion active fans worldwide. It is the most watched sport on the planet, leading Cricket in #2 by over 1 Billion fans. You will also find football events are the #1 and #3 most watched sporting events of all time. Football already has a global die-hard community pre-built, who actively seek out further ways to engage with the sport through gaming, betting and fantasy leagues.
Top Flight Football’s objective is to onboard as many of these 3.5 Billion fans as possible to Hedera through our game, which allows players to vote on the outcomes of real-world football matches to earn $FOOTBALL rewards for making correct picks. Other football based web3 games such as Sorare and football.fun have gathered tremendous traction since launching their platforms, and Top Flight Football is the next to follow suit.
Whilst existing Up Only Gaming tokenomics strategies have been not progressing at the rate that fans desire, Top Flight Football is making a concerted effort to drastically advance and develop a new set of tokenomics that fans will approve of. Much of our roadmap has been formed by listening to community feedback and has resulted in several planned mechanisms for in-game token sinks and buyback plans to control supply as demand increases, and perpetuate in game $FOOTBALL rewards for the long term. Top Flight Football consists of an independent team and has no SAFT investors who will require ROI pay-outs which can apply sell pressure and affect token health.
With football fans constantly looking for new ways to engage with their favourite sport, gaming and betting are the largest markets that fans flock too. Top Flight Football will capitalise on these markets with our game which appeals to both gamers and bettors. Football makes up 30% of the global sports betting market, and is projected to double over the next 5 years. Top Flight Football’s goal is to convert as much of this market as possible to Up Only Gaming. If Top Flight Football can capture even 1%of the current football betting market, it would inject over $300 million a year into the Hedera ecosystem.

Specification & Rationale
Top Flight Football has already gained traction in the Hedera ecosystem as proved by a hugely successful INO and token launch on SaucerSwap. Once our game launches it has serious potential to explode in popularity as proven with other Football based web3 games. In order to facilitate this kind of growth $FOOTBALL needs deeper liquidity depth for more stable pricing and to provide community incentives to hold the token long term. If the Top Flight Football game reaches even a fraction of its true potential then SaucerSwap will benefit massively from our user uptake through a step up in trading volume and platform fees as the only exchange to list $FOOTBALL.
